Wynwood in Miami one of the city’s ‘up and coming’ neighbourhoods in Miami, which means art on every corner, busy and buzzing food spots, and shops justifying selling ice cream for £10. We spent a couple of hours in the Wynwood area just before Christmas 2021. Munching on tasty Mexican at The Taco Stand, taking in the art at Wynwood Walls and enjoying one of those aforementioned overpriced ice creams.

Mallorca is one of my favourite places in Europe, and it seems to have something for everyone. Gorgeous beaches, jaw-dropping mountain villages, wonderful food, typical Balearics nightlife (I’m looking at you Magaluf), and an inviting and authentic historical capital city.

Although I love spending time in all corners of the island, whenever I’m visiting Mallorca I make sure to spend at least one night in Palma. Here are some of my favourite things to do.

It’s safe to say I have a soft spot when it comes to Portugal. The country where your life was saved tends to have that effect!

But embarrassingly, I’d spent so much time in the Brit-filled Algarve on warm weather training camps as an athlete, that I’d only scratched the surface of this beautiful place.

That was set to be rectified when, in July 2021, mid-pandemic, I decided to take advantage of Portugal’s hospitality once again, and see a little bit more of what this country had to offer.
